The Desire that Leads to the Abitur of the Mountains

It was a time of war. Everyone was on the run throughout the country. Many runs and end up dead before they could reach the border or to any safe zones. To be frank, no one could ever ensure whether it's really safe in the safe zones. Some said that those who enters the safe zones never ever came out from that place. Some ran to the mountain in the countryside. Surprisingly, there were no soldier camps set up nearby. They could seek sanctuary until the wars are over in which no one know whether it will. It's been years since they live in the mountain. More and more people gathers and live peacefully in the mountain while it's always war and bombing outside. Slowly, it become a huge community and it has it's own leader to lead the people of the community. Still, it's not as good as having a normal life in the city where children and go to school and have fun. Some chooses to leave the mountain knowingly that the war could have been ended. "Do they not offer homage willingly to abitur of the Mountains?" The leader said in the daily meeting with the whole community. Everyone went quiet.
