The Abettor Who Refuse The Honor

James lost his right leg during the civil wars. He stepped on a land mine and it exploded. His right leg had to be amputated. He was forced to retire from the army and he's been idling after that. He couldn't accept the fact that god would play such a trick on him. Without his leg, he lived his life dishonored. He felt shame as he couldn't do anything at all. It's worst than being a homeless on the street. At least homeless have an aim of getting something they want. One day, he came across someone who had such a kind heart and helped him by getting him up. Right now, James is serving in the army as a consultant who deal with people like him. So that the society would recognize their contribution to the country. James was summoned to the white house and was given the medal of honor as James had changed the perspective of the society on retired soldier entirely. However, he did not mentioned anything about this abettor who had helped him as the abettor refuse to have her name mentioned at all.
