In the State of Abeyance

It used to be a very pretty place. Famous for it's beauty in both nature and the people. But one day, the heatwave came and killed every life in the city. What's left in the city is a state of abeyance. We got lost and found ourselves in this city of legend. Since few decades ago, it was a beautiful city but now it's like a city that filled with death. Tress grown everywhere and veins covers the buildings. It's just like the movie of where a city has been deem inhabitable and being left abandoned. It has now became a zoo where animals live wild and free from human. They seems happy without us. Perhaps this earth was better without us. I have reads many stories about how human extinct eventually and this world would starts from stone age again. I truly believe that. We found our way out and each of us took a vow to not come back here or telling anyone about this. People seems to be forgetting this city and it's best to leave it that way.
