Human Were Scattered Abaxially

The world doesn't end up in a very fancy way as human tends to be greedy by trying to be immortal. They ended up creating monsters which will lead to human extinction. Instead of advancing, human race had gone into hiding and they were all scatter in an abaxial manner. They were gangs of human hunting and killing each other for food and other resources. Money was deem useless at the time as it could only be used as a fuel to the fire. It's just that worthless anyway. Some were living a good life within the wall they had built to protect themselves against these monster while others were on the run and searching for sanctuary. No one had any idea of what's going on. It just happen on a quiet night where they were sleeping soundly. They were all awaken by the screams and shoutings. RUN! There's nothing reported on the TV or any information by the government as if the government had disappear into thin air. There were rumours that it all started with the government and they failed to control the unprecedented situation and was all killed. That sounds logical and explain why there's nothing coming from the government. No one knows what's going to happen in the future but they knows that the place they are in won't last forever. However, they hoped that they wouldn't had to run away again, at least not abaxially.
