The Light From Abat-jour

It's cavernous out here. You had only one torchlight to depend on. Otherwise, nothing can restore your line of sight. You would doubt everything you ever touch to be dangerous. You could say it's a natural mechanism for human to survive. You could feel the adrenalin surging inside your body and sweats covering every parts of your skin, making you hard to breathe. You wanted to hope that this day would end but it doesn't as the foul smell would reminds and kick you back to the reality. As you direct your torchlight, you could see carcass of birds and rats. You kept telling yourself that there's gonna be a way out of this misery. You were just keeping yourself positive as the thought of it were the only thing that keep you moving forward. You do not have time to rest. The struggles through the cave has taken a toll on your body as you collapses. The next thing you see was a room that filled with lights as if the whole roof was covered by abat-jour. You had never felt happier to be able to see so much lights coming in. The door opened and you could see people dressed in white came in. You gone back to sleep before you could say anything.
