Martial Court Decides on Mills Abasement

Mills Stanton was an outstanding soldier and he still one of the best out there. But he had never listen commands very often as he claims that his judgment was better as he was on the field while the commanders were not. However, every operation came out a success due to his accurate judgment. Thus, he saves many lives, be it soldiers or hostages. Higher rank officers often seen him as a threat and wants to abase his rank so that he could not be involved in too many critical operation. They sees him as a time bomb which will explode one day and killed everyone in the operation. One day, he goes on an rescue operation and the hostage was a very important minister to the country. Once again, he refuse to listen to the orders on standing down and not rushing in as the terrorist had a bomb placed on the hostage. Mills refuse to listen and the rush in from the back of the building. He manages to kill all of the terrorist but one of the terrorist press the detonation button and it blow up the building including the hostage in it. Mills was able to get out with serious injury but his squad and the hostages were being burned alive inside the building. He faces martial court and the court decides to abase his rank to the lowest rank. They couldn't execute him due to the amount of operation that he had served to the country. Being the lowest rank means that he had no chance to participate in any critical operation but those operation which escort people who pays the military money. Even though Mills knows that his rank had been abased but he still try to be the best in everything he does. However, Mills had been following the orders since the day his rank was abased. No one know when he will be able to rejoin his previous rank or when he will refuse to listen to orders again.
