10 Years In A Foreign Land

She was involved in an accident that affected her health even after she had recovered from it. It took her 6 months of slumber on her bed in a hospital to do that. No one knows what happen, not even after police investigated on this. At first, the doctor said that she was in coma after the surgery and it'll probably be that way for a while. When the doctor was asked on how long it will be for her to wake up. The doctor stuttered and said that he was unsure and it might last up to a year or so. Everyone was sad but happy at the same time as she had just went through a dangerous surgery on the fracture on her head. She woke up and feels that the world was different already. She never knew that she's been in coma as she thought that she was brought to another place where she had been living with a bunch of people for a decade now before she was killed in that place. Now, she woke up in the place where she never thought that she would come back and it felt weird. She did not tell anyone about this other place that she's been. She kept it until she got married and that's when she told her children about this story and it's been passed down from her children to her grandchildren as it slowly turns out to be a legend or a folktales.
