Against All Risk (AAR)

Everyone received a call for an emergency meeting in the morning. Clark was the last one to enter the meeting room as he had to settle an urgent issue on hand. When he enters the meeting room, everyone had a gloomy faces. Clark knew that this could not be any good news. So he quickly sat down on the first vacant seat that he could find. Seems like everyone's here. The chairman said with a strict expression on his face. Almost everyone swallowed their saliva as if they were warming up for this bad news. We had a crisis, and it's getting worse. Anyone had any solution? The chairman asked while screening through everyone. Slowly everyone started to give their opinion and possible solutions. The chairman listened to all of them and comment on every one of it. However, none of their ideas were accepted. Then the chairman added. We cannot take on ideas that requires risk - AAR. Finally the meeting ended with no solution found but everyone were given a day to think of it and come up with a solution in mind in the next meeting. How bad could this day be, there are already tasks piled up and yet I need to crack my brain to think of this. Clark put his head into his hands and let out a sigh.
